All vehicles are carefully selected by Tony - using his many years experience of driving and owning American cars and trucks - Tony is a fully skilled motor mechanic (City & Guilds motor vehicles craft studies parts 1&2 - and a 5 year apprenticeship with Wadham Stringers) He has always lived and dreamed cars - and has been fabricating and kustomizing for longer than he cares to remember! Starting with welding pushbikes at age 12 and graduating to his first Yank, a 62 Pontiac convertible by age 20. His cars have included - 66 Chevy Impala, 59 Buick LeSabre, 59 Chevy Apache, 62 Ford Fairlane, 59 Ford Fairlane, Trans Am, 80's US Dodge van, 58 and 59 PA Cresta, several Ford Consuls and Morris Minors, Zephyr 4 Mark 3, all marks and models of Cortina except Lotus, Wolseley 6/110, Austin Westminster, several Cambridges some of which he raced at Newton Abbot stock car track which also saw the death of a PC Cresta, a few Heralds, an A35 countryman amongst others. Banger racing led to building his own saloon stock car, a mini stock for son Tom, and a Formula 2 stock car. When racing began to hurt more he returned to enjoying Yanks again! Currently he is keeping himself occupied by building a hotrod - more about this in Projects later.
